INTENSIVE RIDING
PROGRAM **
This is a concentrated riding experience with two lessons daily - a great opportunity for campers who would like to spend extra time in the saddle.
Riding twice per day allows students to focus on a specific area of interest and improve their skills more rapidly.

ETHOLOGY & HORSE
TRAINING PROGRAM **
A unique opportunity to learn the basics of horse training in a daily, hands on class in Ethology & Natural Horsemanship.
Students will gain a deeper understanding of equine behavior and learn how to harmoniously and effectively influence that behavior.
Working with both experienced and young horses, they will develop ground training skills such as lunging, long reining, and round pen work.

FRENCH LANGUAGE
TUTORING **
Whether campers are already studying French in school or would like to learn, we can help.
Along with our French campers who are learning to speak English. students practice conversational and written skills during a daily session taught by a native French speaking tutor.

COUNSELOR IN TRAINING
This program is open to girls 15 and older who would like to take on additional respsonsibilities and act as mentors / role models for younger campers.
CIT's must be friendly, outgoing and well-mannered and have attended Petit Galop for at least 1 previous summer.
They will assist senior counselors & campers throughout the day, help with the daily care of horses, and lead activities for younger campers.
Spaces in this program are limited to two CITs per session and require a minimum stay of 4-weeks.
To be considered as a CIT please contact Esther.
